Chris Paul and Dwight Howard Plan To Be Teammates

Chris Paul and Dwight Howard could be teammates if they both sign with the same team during this NBA offseason.

Chris Paul and Dwight Howard could wind up teammates.

Another free agency, another pair of stars that want to play together. Both Chris Paul and Dwight Howard have interest in playing with each. This pairing could be very dynamic as the evoution of Blake Griffin and Jordan in LA were mainly due to the precision passes of Chris Paul.

Dwight on the other hand, was not able to stay healthy and also did not have a premiere point guard (Nash was elite and also missed time due to injury). Couple that with a less-than-ideal coaching situation, and Dwight’s fall from grace appears more palpable.

Howard and Paul are both looking to recieve max contracts, which narrows down the suitors. While Paul is reluctant to leave LA, only a sign and trade could bring the players together there. The Hawks, the hometown of Howard, appear to be a fit due to the finances. There are conflicting reports on Paul’s willingness to go to Atlanta, but everything indicates that if Howard signs there, Paul would be willing to go.

After the NBA Finals end, the possible union of Chris Paul and Dwight Howard will be the top headline of the NBA offseason.
