After retiring from the NBA after the Knicks were eliminated from the playoffs, Kidd made a relatively surprising move. He decided to talk Nets GM Billy King into allowing him to be a candidate for the head coaching job of the Brooklyn Nets.
Well now, Kidd becoming the next head coach appears to be in the works as the Inquirer has reported that the team and Kidd are negotiating a 3 year contract, with an official announcement to come later in the week.
However, it is also known that Brian Shaw, of the Indianan Pacers, will have his scheduled interview on Wednesday. It appears as though the Nets will be weighing their options, which is the logical thing to do.
