Last night’s baseball game between the Arizona Diamondbacks and the Los Angeles Diamondbacks took an ugly turn.
Yasil Puig has been baseball’s greatest story this past week, as it appears that he has reviatalized the highly paid dodgers squad. Again, he made headlines, after he took a 92 mph Ian Kennedy fastball to the face. Seen here:
He stayed on the ground for a few minutes as his face was bleeding and stayed in the game. Gotta love this guys talent and gritt.
Grienke then takes revenge on Diamonback Jesus Montero, well at least we can assume that it was an act of revenge. The benches did clear, but it was more of a shouting match, and nothing really interesting happened.
However, then this happened.
You can bet that there will be suspensions, but I have no problem with this. While these situations can result in season altering injuries, it breaks up the monotony of a baseball game. Plus, these kinds of things spice up rivalries and increase team chemistry. Can’t wait for these teams to square off again.
