Nik Stauskas is a rising sophomore for the Michigan Wolverines. He was a key component to the team last year, averaging 11 points and shooting 44% from deep. Stauskas probably ranks as one of the best sharpshooters in the country. In this video, Nik completes one of John Beilein’s favorite drills, a 5-minute drill. The point of the drill is to make as many shots as possible within the time limit. Stauskas hits 70 of his 76 shots in the video. He started off with an impressive 46 straight shots. If you think the drill is easy and it wasn’t that impressive, try doing it in the rain with some high winds like Nik did then come talk to me. Stauskas is sure to have a bigger role on the team next year with the departures of Trey Burke and Tim Hardaway Jr.
